Don't Look Now...

...but it's another installment of Random Findings! This is becoming rather popular (around my house and apparently around my readers' homes as well), so I'm thinking of making this into a blog carnival. We'll see...

Walking around the house to the backyard, and something orange among the sea of green plants catches my eye. I do a double take...

What exactly ARE you supposed to do with your empty Goldfish cracker wrapper?

Why, stick it in the bush, of course.

Find random things? Tell me about it the comments. I want to know I'm not all alone in this bizarre occurrence.

Ugh, I find random things ALL OF THE TIME! With three kids it never surprises me anymore. Well, actually sometimes it does but it shouldn't. I have learned if anything is missing look in the number one place it shouldn't be and you will find it.

Yeah a bush is a great place for a goldfish bag. Oh and its good for toys. ;)

How fun! I'll have to remember to play along. I was actually thinking about it this morning, how things end up in such strange places. :-)

Better look closer. Maybe there's more stuff in there.

Um, yeah. I so can relate. I've done some postings on it. My latest: crayons in the fridge.

Glad to see i'm not the only one. It looks like a trash can under my entertainment center, and under the couch. LOL.. kids.

But of course!

Duh!

I'm sure my little one will be getting into that stage soon.

Oh! I did find a maxi pad wrapper in my tween's pants pocket. Weird considering she hasn't started a period yet. LOL

Duh mom, why would they take the time to go to the trash?! LOL, sounds like my house too.

I came home yesterday to discover that the onion, radish and carrot that were growing in the "Root-Viewer" (fat test tubes that let you watch the plants as they grow)had been UP-rooted.

Apparently 5-year-olds don't understand that you can't pet plants....

Wow. With the random things found around here we could make lots of laughs....great idea for a post!
You know that plants have to eat too!! I have been MIA with a silly post here and there....too many activities in the warm weather keeps me away from the computer too much! Loving this rain so I can pop in and read some of my favs!

The coveted missing Nintendo DS? Why, BEHIND the TV, of course.

The way they just throw down/stuff/fling food wrappers makes me INSANE! Glad you took a picture of it!

I've embraced the randomness and have placed my own "random" items around the house. There's a tiny blue and black plastic lizard on the canisters near my sink. A wee little plastic dog from a vending machine sits in a cup-well on the treadmill. The boys notice and sometimes move these items around in a Will She Notice sort of way. It's become a fun game at our house!
