Which includes being a cheap and easily entertained date.
The most recent object of desire among these boys is a pair of old work goggles. I have no idea where they came from (my husband says they are Crappa's).
Logan especially loves them, and even like to wear them when he "works out," as he is obviously displaying above.
And even Owen gets his hands on them every once in a while and begs to wear them.
Since there is only one pair, thoughful Dad got two more pairs so they could all share. The new pairs are nice and clean, no brown plastic surface and worn out, non-stretchy elastic headband.
Think they fight over the new ones?

Fighting over clean, new goggles wouldn't be any fun would it?!
My son likes my husbands old ones over his new ones too. So funny the stuff they like to play with, why do we even buy them toys??
Betcha they don't! Betcha they would love the box better!
You would not believe what my 15 years loves...
Straws to chew on. Unbelieveable.
It doesn't get different when they get older. Sorry.
I am sure there is alot of fighting still going on over the broken in pair. LOL
Love the pictures...they are so cute!
My boys always love the box their toys come in. They decorate it and build with it and, when I finally get tired of piles of cardboard in the living room and get rid of it, then they play with the new toy.
What a great toy!
Ha! Of course they'll fight over the new ones! In my experience (when I say experience, I mean no experience) one always wants what the other one has!
nope they won't touch the new ones. ;)
Um heck yes they will fight over the new ones! The hubby should have bought 3 new pairs, all the same color and every thing. LOL what am i talking about, they would still fight over them!
hell no! They want the old, beat up craptastic pair! Leave it to boys, I'm tellin' ya. Ah well. At least they are cheaper than girls. Whenever I get sad that I don't have a girl, I remind myself that it is saving me thousands of dollars on pink, sparkly girly cuteness.
LOL - boys are just great for cheap entertainment, aren't they?
New favorite toy in this house - Daddy's measuring tape. You know, the one that snaps back with it's razor sharp edges. We need a bigger "no no" shelf.
I found a pair of "fly eyes" glasses -- the lenses have many surfaces, causing the wearer to see as a fly would -- at a joke store. The g-kids LOVED them.
Of course they want the REAL ones.
love,
mom
